About
Vault Pin started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept losing internet on their commutes. We were tired of installing a promising game only to hit a wall that said 'connection required' before the first level even loaded. So we began keeping notes on what actually worked offline, and the notes turned into this site.
We focus on one thing: games you can play without a connection. That covers a lot of ground — deep role-playing worlds, brain-bending puzzles, tycoon-style simulators, racing, card games, the lot. If a game secretly phones home to work, it doesn't make the cut.,Every title here gets played by an actual editor for at least a few hours before we write a word. We note the controls, the pacing, how it feels on an older phone, and whether it respects your time. No scores get handed out based on a trailer.
We're small and independent. Nobody pays us to bump a game up the list, and if that ever changes we'll say so loudly at the top of the page. Until then, the only agenda is finding stuff worth the storage space.
