Why us

Played, Not Skimmed

Every game gets real hours on a real phone before we write about it. No trailer reviews here.

Truly Offline

We test each title in airplane mode. If it stops working without a signal, it doesn't belong on the list.

No Paid Placements

Nobody buys a spot in our catalogue. Our rankings answer to nothing but how the games actually play.

Gearfall Derby

Gearfall Derby

★★★★☆ 4.3

Gearfall Derby is the kind of racer you pick up for one race and put down forty minutes later. You bolt together cars from scrapyard parts, then throw them down tracks that bend and crumble as you drive. The tilt steering is optional — I switched to on-screen buttons and never looked back.

  • Snappy button controls that beat tilt
  • Deep car tuning without paywalls
  • Runs smooth even on older phones

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We start with anything that claims to work offline, then actually test that claim in airplane mode. From there an editor plays the game for at least a few hours before deciding whether it's worth writing up. Reader suggestions push a lot of titles onto our list too.

Do you get paid to review games?

No. Nobody pays us to cover a game or to score it higher, and we don't accept paid placements in our catalogue. If that ever changes, we'll mark it clearly at the top of the relevant page.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Please do. Drop us a note through the contact page with the name and, ideally, why you think it's worth our time. We read every suggestion, and offline-friendly titles like Luxora often reach us that way before we'd have found them ourselves.

Is there advertising on the site?

We may run light, non-intrusive display ads to keep the lights on, but they never influence which games we cover or how we rate them. Editorial and advertising stay completely separate. You'll never see a review that's secretly an ad.
